The Black and Jewish communities have a legacy of working together. It has been written that the long standing ties between these communities, which were forged during the early 1900’s and through the Civil Rights movement, laid the groundwork for the spirit and social climate that led to the election of the first black president of the United States of America.  

In the spirit of these long ties, we cordially invite you to The Black-Jewish Professional Networking Experience on Wednesday, October 28^th at Restaurant 13 (at the Marriott Downtown Hotel).  Learning and sharing, creating and connecting are the goals of this event. This is an exclusive after work, networking event designed to expand your social network and promote professional and economic growth in Philadelphia by strengthening the connection between Black and Jewish professionals.  

This collaborative event is hosted by a consortium of Philadelphia’s young professional Jewish and Black organizations. During this event you will have an exclusive opportunity to meet, mingle and make new contacts with diverse fellow leaders in the young professional community. The Black-Jewish Professional Networking Experience’s host organizations include: Urban Philly Professional Network (UPPN), Idea Coalition, Philadelphia's Jewish Graduate Student Network, Philadelphia Black PR Society (PBPRS),  Moishe House, The Collaborative, Birthright Israel NEXT: Philadelphia, Urban League Young Professionals of Philadelphia, Federation Renaissance Group, American Jewish Committee and Operation Understanding.
